Hourly Pay Range:

$39.72 - $61.57 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Lead Vascular Technologist
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, Days, rotating weekends, holidays, and on call requirement
  • Required Travel: Float to other vascular imaging sites

What you will do:

  • Provide direct support for team members in addition to Vascular Tech responsibilities
  • Responsible for performing advanced specialty imaging; responsible for mentoring all levels of technologists and students, ongoing competencies, facilitating continuous quality improvement and coordinating research to meet the needs of the department
  • Will perform non-invasive vascular exams independently in accordance with IAC standards
  • Responsible for IAC accreditation and policy adherence
  • Is the super user of all vascular equipment and will troubleshoot any issues with daily workflow and equipment.
  • Will work on any additional projects as needed

What you will need:

  • Education: Graduate from two-year college or from ultrasound program
  • Certification: RVT or RVS Certification
  • Experience: At least three years hospital experience in non-invasive vascular ultrasound field.
  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Must be proficient in all vascular imaging exams including arterial, venous, carotid, temporal arteritis, abdominal aorta, and specialty imaging
