Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to independently perform vascular imaging, prepare patients for procedures, and assist physicians with cardiac and vascular interventions. The role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

The successful candidate will hold a Vascular Specialist or Technologist certification (or be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic program) and must have a BLS

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients and troubleshoot equipment while maintaining safety standards.

Role

Vascular Sonographer

Responsibilities

Independently performs vascular sonography, prepares patients for procedures, assists physicians with cardiac and vascular interventions, analyzes imaging results, educates patients, manages equipment, troubleshoots issues, and ensures safety standards. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Certified as a Vascular Specialist or Technologist, graduate of an accredited diagnostic program, with BLS certification. Preferred one year of experience but not required. Must possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and patient communication abilities.

Key Duties

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure image quality, monitor patient condition, manage equipment, and adhere to safety and quality protocols. Acts as a subject matter expert and supports physicians during procedures.
