Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Assist our physicians with Venclose, Varithena, Venaseal, EVLTs, Ultrasound guided Sclerotherapy, and RF ablation procedures.
  2. Perform venous insufficiency and venous mapping ultrasounds of the lower extremities.
  3. Perform upper and lower venous duplex and arterial duplex studies.
  4. Perform carotid ultrasounds.
  5. Prepare thorough reports on findings.
  6. Clearly communicate findings to physicians.
  7. Enjoy the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, as well as enjoying working as a strong team member.
  8. Maintain sonographer equipment.
  9. Able to act as a patient advocate.

Qualifications

  1. Current ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist - (RVT) orCCI Registered Vascular Specialist - (RVS)
  2. CCI Registered Phlebology Sonographer - (RPhS) is a plus.
  3. Prior experience performing all aspects of venous and arterialultrasound with additional training in venous insufficiency examinations.
  4. Basic understanding of medical necessity as it relates to vascular ultrasound testing,obtaining signed orders from referring physicians, verifying proper indications for exams, etc.
  5. Interpersonal communication skills are amust.
  6. Possess a high degree of respect andconfidentiality.
