This is a combined posting for a Vascular Technologist and Senior Vascular Technologist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. In a laboratory, patient care unit, and/or surgical setting, performs noninvasive diagnostic vascular studies using ultrasound imaging and non-imaging physiological instrumentation. Proficient at writing preliminary reports for placement in the electronic medical chart immediately following each exam and in presenting diagnostic findings to referring healthcare providers. This position may also involve working at and traveling between Swedish Health Services hospitals and clinics.
Performs professional level, highly complex diagnostic vascular studies under general supervision and prepares preliminary findings based on physiological and anatomical imaging data.
This position requires the performance of intracranial cerebrovascular exams on inpatients and outpatients with complex cerebrovascular pathology. Requires understanding and knowledge of intracranial vascular anatomy, vascular physiology, and pathophysiology.
Performs professional level, complex diagnostic vascular studies under general supervision and prepares preliminary reports based on physiological and anatomical imaging data. Requires specialized knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound tests for patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage, aneurysms, increased intracranial pressure, cerebral circulatory arrest, right to left cardiac shunts, cerebral arteriovenous malformations, acute stroke, arteriovenous malformations, moyamoya disease, and other vascular diseases.

The listed amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, or bonuses.
