Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a vascular technician program is required.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required or an active ARDMS credential.
• Experience with upper and lower extremity Doppler and venous ablations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is in proper operating condition and secured.
• Identify patients and evaluate medical precautions before vascular testing.
• Maintain lab equipment and a safe, orderly environment per policy.
• Enter patient demographics and clinical findings into the EHR.
• Prepare final reports for review and signature by medical staff.

Job Summary

Position Title: Vascular Technician

Responsibilities

• Insures that all equipment is in proper operating condition, stored and secured in a designated area.
• Identifies patient and evaluates for medical precautions: review patient’s case with Clinicianneeded prior to starting vascular testing procedures
• Maintains all equipment and material in proper order in compliance with the companypolicies and procedure; maintains an orderly and safe lab environment as per departmental
• Enters all patient demographics and clinical findings in EHR.
• Prepares final reports for review and signature from medical personnel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Completion Of Vascular Technician Program
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is a plusCertification Preferred (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, ARDMS)
• Experience with upper and lower extremity doplarsFamiliarity with venous ablations
• 1 year of experience
