Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration in Connecticut is seeking a PRN Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasounds, capture hemodynamic data, and assist in venous disease evaluation in multiple CT locations.

The role emphasizes patient care, accuracy, and adherence to protocols, with a 4-day schedule (10 hours), no nights or weekends, and opportunities for clinic bonuses and CME allowances.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred for this role.
• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program (Noninvasive vascular study) required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following standards to produce images and measurements for venous disease diagnosis and treatment.
• Operates ultrasound equipment daily while maintaining high medical ethics and a desire to improve knowledge of venous disease.
• Produces diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Provides compassionate patient care and maintains a caring environment.

Responsibilities:

• The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
• The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
• The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
• Performs all task necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates Degree (preferred)
• Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study)
• PRN Western CT Float Position
• Must be able to cover in the following locations: Fairfield, Milford, Wilton, Newtown, and Shelton, CT
