Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a PRN Days Vascular Tech to perform inpatient and outpatient vascular ultrasound testing with 2D and Doppler imaging and physiologic assessment. You will document preliminary exam findings and ensure accurate reports.

The candidate should be a graduate of a CAAPHEP accredited vascular sonography program, with BCLS on hire and ARDMS RVT or RVS eligibility within 1 year or CCI RVS certification within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program is required.
• In lieu of education, equivalent experience per IAC is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing including 2D and Doppler imaging and physiologic testing.
• Provide complex technical care with ultrasound for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and document preliminary exam findings.

Responsibilities

Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.
