Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a PRN Days Vascular Tech to perform inpatient and outpatient vascular ultrasound testing, including 2D/Doppler imaging and physiologic studies. The role provides comprehensive ultrasound care for adolescent to geriatric patients and requires accurate documentation of preliminary findings.

Education must be a CAAHEP‑accredited vascular sonography program with ARDMS or CCI certification within 1 year, and BCLS on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited vascular sonography program or equivalent per IAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient/outpatient vascular ultrasound testing (2D Doppler, physiologic testing).
• Provide complex ultrasound care for adolescent to geriatric patients and document preliminary exam findings.

Responsibilities

Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.
