Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a PRN Days Vascular Tech to perform inpatient and outpatient vascular ultrasound testing, including 2D and Doppler studies, and to document preliminary findings for adolescent to geriatric patients.

The role requires a CAAHEP-accredited vascular sonography program or equivalent per IAC, plus current BCLS and ARDMS/CCI certification eligibility within 1 year. You will collaborate with the vascular team to ensure accurate assessments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited vascular sonography program or equivalent experience per IAC.
• No experience required; 2 years related hospital vascular sonography experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certification and ARDMS or CCI RVT/RVS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing with 2D/Doppler imaging.
• Provide complex technical care and document preliminary exam findings for diverse patients.

PRN Days Vascular Tech Piedmont Athens Regional

Responsibilities

Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program Required or
• In Lieu of education, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Required

Work Experience

• No experience required
• 2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory vascular sonographer Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and
• Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one the following: within 1 Year
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist within 1 Year Required or
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification within 1 Year Required
