Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration seeks a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures and operate ultrasound equipment across multiple clinic locations. You will contribute to venous disease evaluation and patient care with high ethical standards.

Candidates should have an Associate degree (preferred) and completed vascular sonography training, with experience in noninvasive vascular studies and a willingness to travel among Greenbelt, Germantown, Rockville, and nearby

Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred and completion of a diagnostic medical sonography program.
  • Experience in noninvasive vascular studies required.
  • Must be able to cover multiple locations as schedule requires.

Responsibilities

  • The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures to produce images and measurements for venous disease evaluation.
  • Manages daily operation of ultrasound equipment while maintaining professional ethics.
  • Produces diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
  • Delivers compassionate patient care in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • The Vascular Technologist performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standard and company specific protocols to produce sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
  • The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the daily operating of ultrasound equipment, while always maintaining a high standard of medical ethics and is self‑motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
  • The Technologist should be capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
  • Performs all tasks necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment, while promoting excellent patient care.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree (preferred)
  • Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study)
  • Maryland South Float: 4, 10‑hour shifts. Off 1 day during the week and every weekend.
  • Must be able to cover in any of the following locations. Schedule is given 1 month in advance, but subject to change: Monday – Greenbelt, Germantown, Waldorf; Tuesday – Silver Spring, Prince Frederick, DC; Wednesday – Greenbelt, Germantown, Waldorf, Rockville; Thursday – Silver Spring, Prince Frederick, DC; Friday – Greenbelt, Rockville.
