Job summary

Valley Baptist - Brownsville Hospital is seeking a vascular technologist to assist in coordinating activities within the vascular laboratory and perform vascular ultrasound studies. Under supervision, you will ensure quality imaging and serve as an educational resource for the team.

Requirements include an Associate degree, 1 year clinical experience, and ARDMS with BLS and RVT (or registry-eligible with registration within 12 months). A sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree.
• Experience: 1 year in a clinical setting.
• Certifications: ARDMS, AHA BLS and RVT; or registry-eligible with registration due within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Under the guidance of the manager of the vascular laboratory, assists in the coordination of all activities performed in the laboratory, including performing vascular imaging studies.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and assists in all activities performed in the vascular laboratory. Ensures delivery of quality vascular ultrasound studies, and acts as an educational resource. Performs checks on equipment daily. Performs vascular examinations. Notifies physician immediately when clinical symptoms and test results reveal a positive outcome.

Qualifications

Education
Required: Associate degree.

Experience
Required: 1 year experience in a clinical setting.

Certifications
Required: ARDMS, AHA BLS and RVT; or registry-eligible with registration required within 12 months.

Preferred: ICVAL.
