The role involves assisting surgeons, preparing the OR, and maintaining a sterile environment, especially for vascular procedures. Required qualifications include surgical technologist training and BLS certification. Qualifications

• Knowledge of physical, psychosocial, and cognitive developmental needs of population served.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and arrange instruments for surgeries.
• Maintain aseptic technique during all surgeries.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
• Count sponges, sharps, and instruments to ensure nothing is left behind.
