The Staff Nurse (RN) role emphasizes clinical expertise, critical thinking, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across complex vascular procedures.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, and acute care certification preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for role progression.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and post-discharge care.
• Participates in safety, quality and regulatory activities.
• Develops and documents plans of care with the team.
• Assesses patient needs and coordinates care across the continuum.
• Maintains critical care standards and safety sensitivity.
