Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor) conferred.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 1–3 years RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments and documents per policy.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Assesses patient needs and responses to care rendered.
• Applies nursing judgment in patient care decisions and plan of care.
• Directs ancillary personnel and maintains professional standards.
