Job summary

OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join a busy practice with the ability to perform open and endovascular procedures. The role offers a collegial environment and a hybrid OR with a noninvasive vascular lab.

Join an experienced team of vascular surgeons supported by 3 APPs, with a 1:4 call and potential for an academic appointment through the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford Campus.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (MD/DO) required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Must obtain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform open and endovascular vascular procedures.
• Participate in vein program development.
• Collaborate with a team of vascular surgeons and APPs (3 APPs).

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $600,000-700,000

• Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have ability to do open and endovascular procedures
• Education: Doctorate (MD/DO)
• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of experience in Vascular Surgery post-Residency/Fellowship.
• Interest in participating in a Vein program.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
