Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy, collaborative vascular surgery team in Albany, NY. The role emphasizes outpatient assessment, diagnostic coordination, and wound care within a high-volume practice.
Requirements include NY NP/PA licensure, a master's degree, and relevant vascular experience; DEA and board certifications are expected.
Formación
- New York NP or PA license active and registered.
- Master's degree from accredited NP or PA program.
- Minimum 1 year vascular surgery, cardiology, wound care experience preferred.
- DEA and National Board certifications.
- ATLS and BLS certificates.
- Epic EMR experience a plus.
- HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
Responsabilidades
- Assess and manage vascular surgery patients in outpatient settings.
- Order and interpret diagnostics; manage postoperative follow-up and wound care.
- Collaborate with vascular team for care planning and continuity.
- Support telephone triage and urgent outpatient vascular concerns.
- Provide care after minimally invasive procedures and open reconstructions.
