We are seeking a talented NP or PA for Vascular Surgery, covering both office and inpatient duties, including OR First Assist.

Hours: 40 per week, 7:00A – 5:00P

Shift: Day shift with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation, including overnight responsibilities split among 7 APPs.

Locations: St. Luke’s, Charlton, and office

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, care for, and manage patients with vascular disease in outpatient and inpatient settings, including call duties, under Massachusetts regulations.
• Support a team of surgeons and APPs, with inpatient duties like supporting IR procedures, assisting in OR, post-op care, discharges, and consults.
• Manage outpatient follow-ups, wound checks, and vein procedures.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant: Bachelor's degree, graduate of an approved PA program, certification, and within one year of hire, NCCPA certification.
• Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree in Nursing, certification, and current Massachusetts R.N. registration.
• Ability to care for adult patients with diverse medical issues.
• Physician Assistant: Ability to follow complex management plans, qualify in cardiac support standards, and train as RNFA.
