Albany Medical Center is looking for a full-time Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy surgical team. Candidates should have a Master’s degree and experience in vascular surgery or related fields. Responsibilities include managing vascular surgery patients, performing outpatient procedures, and supporting continuity of care.

The position offers a competitive salary between $124,693 and $145,475, along with comprehensive health insurance and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• License and active registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State.
• Minimum of one year experience in vascular surgery, cardiology, wound care, or related area preferred.
• DEA certification and National Board certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage vascular surgery patients in the outpatient setting.
• Provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive healthcare including assessment, diagnosis, and prescribing.
• Support telephone triage and call management for outpatient vascular concerns.
