Job summary

Northwestern Medicine's Lake Forest location seeks a full-time Medical Director of Vascular Surgery to oversee comprehensive vascular services at Lake Forest Hospital and Grayslake Hospital. The role includes leadership of the non-invasive vascular laboratory and program development in collaboration with the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute.

Ideal candidates have a strong vascular/endovascular background, completed an ACGME vascular surgery fellowship, board certification, and at least three years

Qualifications

• Board certified in vascular surgery.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery fellowship.
• At least three years post-fellowship experience as an attending vascular surgeon.
• Strong background in clinical vascular and endovascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full breadth of vascular surgery services at Lake Forest and Grayslake hospitals.
• Manage the non-invasive vascular laboratory and related services.
• Participate in service calls, rounding, and pre-/post-operative care with the clinical team.
• Respond to local consultations and referrals; contribute to growth and coordination of care within the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute.
