Job summary

Vein and Artery Surgical Consultants in San Antonio, TX invites a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join our growing private practice. The candidate should be proficient in open and endovascular management of vascular disease with emphasis on peripheral arterial disease and dialysis access, and he/she will collaborate with nephrologists and primary care physicians in hospital and ASC settings. Graduating fellows/residents are welcome to apply.

No ER call. Group call 1:3.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Texas or eligible for Texas medical licensure.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills with a commitment to compassionate and comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive vascular surgery care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Perform open and endovascular procedures to treat vascular conditions in hospital and ASC settings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for medically complex patients.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital and legal requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest advances in vascular surgery and participate in continuing education to maintain board certification.
