Job summary

Vein & Artery Surgical Consultants in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Vascular Surgeon to join our surgical team and contribute to high-quality patient care. The role requires 3–5 years of post-residency/fellowship experience with expertise in open and endovascular techniques.

The successful candidate will perform open, endovascular, and hybrid procedures, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and maintain comprehensive medical records while staying current with the latest advances

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery and Texas licensure or eligibility.
• 3–5 years of post-residency/fellowship vascular surgery experience preferred; new graduates encouraged.
• Proficiency in open vascular surgery, endovascular and hybrid techniques.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills for diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat vascular diseases affecting arteries, veins, and lymphatic systems.
• Perform open surgeries, endovascular procedures, and minimally invasive techniques.
• Proficient in dialysis creation and maintenance.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to best practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital and legal requirements.
• Stay updated on latest advances and maintain board certification.
