Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Residency in General Surgery or integrated vascular surgery pathway
• Vascular surgery fellowship training as applicable
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and patient-management abilities
• English proficiency required; additional languages welcome
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage vascular conditions including peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, carotid disease
• Conduct comprehensive consultations and vascular examinations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient data
• Perform open vascular surgeries and endovascular procedures
• Order and interpret vascular imaging studies
• Manage preoperative and postoperative care and follow-up
• Discuss risks, benefits, and alternatives with patients
• Coordinate care with primary care and specialty teams
• Educate patients on vascular health and risk-factor modification
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with regulations
