Job summary

Endovascular Therapies seeks a staff vascular surgeon to join the Vascular Surgery Department. The role includes outpatient and inpatient vascular exams, establishing diagnoses, initiating treatment, and serving as a consultant to center staff and trainees.

The position interfaces with TVHS and Vanderbilt University Medical Center residents and residency programs; candidates should have board-eligible or -certified vascular surgery credentials and strong teaching/research experience.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or VA eligibility confirmed.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency training in an approved core specialty with board eligibility.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Board-certified in vascular/endovascular surgery with 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initial evaluation and workups of vascular patients.
• Perform peripheral vascular, endovascular and intraoperative imaging procedures and interpret studies.
• Conduct inpatient rounds, surgeries, and supervise residents as required.
• Educate patients about their disease state and treatment regimen.
• Supervise technicians during vascular lab performance as needed.
• Hours are based on service needs and typically Monday–Friday.
