Job summary

77 consultants seeks a locum vascular surgeon to provide high-quality care in a dynamic Medical Practice setting in Tennessee. You will evaluate, manage, and treat vascular patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, performing open and endovascular procedures and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes safety, patient outcomes, and CME maintenance, with 24-hour weekend call and on-site responsibilities. Board eligibility/certification and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee or eligibility.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Vascular Surgery.
• Completion of an accredited vascular surgery fellowship.
• 1–3 years associate-level vascular surgery experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting vascular imaging (US/CTA/MRA).
• Strong surgical skills with focus on safety and outcomes.
• Excellent clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret imaging.
• Execute arterial, venous, and lymphatic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergent cases.
• Document care in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, options, and postop care.
• Monitor postoperative progress and manage complications.
