Geisinger Vascular Surgery is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join a high-volume academic practice at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, Pennsylvania. This role offers full-spectrum vascular surgery in a tertiary and quaternary referral center, with active involvement in education and scholarship.
Geisinger Medical Center houses a mature academic vascular surgery program with 7 full‑time vascular surgeons and 7 advanced practice providers. Geisinger has maintained ACGME accreditation for its Vascular Fellowship since 1991 and launched an Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency in 2023, graduating three vascular trainees annually.
The vascular service operates in two dedicated hybrid ORs with additional open vascular OR access and serves as a regional referral center supported by seven medical helicopters.
Early-career faculty are supported in developing high-volume practices with mentorship and access to complex referrals.
