Northwell Health in conjunction with Plainview Hospital is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical and technical skills and adopt a collaborative approach to patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled vascular surgeon with 3-4 years of experience and strong leadership qualities to contribute to the development of a growing vascular practice.
Responsibilities include in- and outpatient care for a wide range of vascular surgery patients. Candidates should be interested in providing the full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular surgical procedures. Opportunities for expanding vascular surgical services are exceptional. The candidate must have excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and a passion for patient care. The division is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified vascular surgeon.
Plainview Hospital is an acute care community hospital with 120 beds, treating patients with various medical, surgical, and gynecological conditions. It features a same-day surgery program and hosts one of the Don Monti Cancer Centers. The hospital also has a Family Medicine training program. Recently, it was recognized by the Joint Commission for excellence in performance on accountability measures for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical care.
