Job description

General Summary

Provides a wide range of preventive and acute health care services to individuals of all ages. The Physician performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures.

We are currently seeking a board-certified vascular surgeon to join our team in WellSpan West Region, PA.

  • WellSpan is actively recruiting a seasoned vascular surgeon to become part of the WellSpan West Vascular Surgery team that will support vascular services in Chambersburg and Gettysburg, PA.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required.
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required.

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required.
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required.

Courses and Training:

  • Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required.
  • Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Teaching skills.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Good phone skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
