Job summary

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is recruiting a BC/BE, fellowship trained vascular surgeon to provide full-scope vascular surgery including open and endovascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula graphs, and extremity bypass surgery.

The Vascular Surgery Practice is on the UPMC Altoona campus with access to extensive surgical facilities and a dedicated Heart and Vascular Institute.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in vascular surgery or equivalent.
• Fellowship training in vascular surgery required.

Responsibilities

• Perform open and endovascular vascular procedures including carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula graphs, and extremity bypass.
• Collaborate with the Heart and Vascular Institute team to provide comprehensive vascular care.

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is recruiting an additional BC/BE, fellowship trained, vascular surgeon to provide full-scope vascular surgery including open and endovascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula graphs, and extremity bypass surgery. The Vascular Surgery Practice is located on the UPMC Altoona hospital campus with easy access to the 12-operating room suite, interventional/endovascular procedure room, and 6-operating room ambulatory surgery center. Our vascular surgeons are part of Altoona's Heart and Vascular Institute which currently includes 1 vascular surgeon, 1 cardio-thoracic surgeon, and 5 cardiologists.

This employed position offers a generous base salary plus work RVU bonus with an attractive UPMC physician benefit package.
