Job summary

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is recruiting a BC/BE, fellowship-trained vascular surgeon to provide full-scope vascular surgery, including open and endovascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula grafts, and extremity bypass. The practice sits on the UPMC Altoona campus within the Heart and Vascular Institute, with access to modern ORs and interventional suites.

This employed position offers a generous base salary plus RVU bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in vascular surgery required
• Fellowship training in vascular surgery preferred
• Experience in open and endovascular techniques is essential

Responsibilities

Job description

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is recruiting an additional BC/BE, fellowship trained, vascular surgeon to provide full-scope vascular surgery including open and endovascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula graphs, and extremity bypass surgery. The Vascular Surgery Practice is located on the UPMC Altoona hospital campus with easy access to the 12-operating room suite, interventional/endovascular procedure room, and 6-operating room ambulatory surgery center. Our vascular surgeons are part of Altoona's Heart and Vascular Institute which currently includes 1 vascular surgeon, 1 cardio-thoracic surgeon, and 5 cardiologists.

This employed position offers a generous base salary plus work RVU bonus with an attractive UPMC physician benefit package.
