Job summary

AdventHealth Waterford Lakes Outpatient Imaging in Orlando, FL is seeking a PRN Vascular Ultrasound Technologist. The role performs ultrasound procedures, adheres to exam protocols, and ensures patient safety with two identifier checks. You will document findings, review images, and re-scan as requested by Radiologists.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT (VS) and RVT/RVS credentials and BLS certification. Per diem shifts offer flexibility within a faith-based health system across Florida.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified vascular technologist credentials required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Vascular ultrasound certifications (RVS, RVT) preferred.
• ARRT credential verification required.

Responsibilities

• Attends department meetings and supports department objectives.
• Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient.
• Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two identifiers before exams.
• Performs, documents, and reports all procedures per departmental policy.
• Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets promptly, re-scanning as needed by Radiologists.

Schedule: Per Diem Location: Waterford Lakes Outpatient Imaging, Orlando, FL Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives. Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation. Other duties as assigned. Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams. Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. Reviews images and completes ultrasound worksheets promptly, re-scanning patients as requested by Radiologists.

Pay Range: $28.68 - $53.35
