UK King\'s Daughters in Ashland, Kentucky, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-frequency ultrasound imaging across vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and other specialties. You will ensure image quality, assist with diagnostic planning, and collaborate with physicians to support patient care.
Graduates from a JRCERT-accredited program with 0–2 years of experience are welcome. Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist or Sonographer and BLS are preferred.

Responsible for providing health care services using high frequency sound waves for medical purposes. Produces, utilizes, recognizes, and analyzes ultrasound images and patterns for patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensures image quality and accuracy to support clinical decision-making. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program
0–2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Sonographer, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
This position requires regular standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; intermittent standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves regular repetitive motion; intermittent risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients or equipment; and intermittent exposure to bloodborne or airborne pathogens. Additional exposure includes occasional sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, radiation, cuts/punctures, risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job, temperature extremes, loud noises, and combative or violent people.
