Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound examinations focusing on the lower extremities. The role requires independent imaging, high-quality documentation, and patient-focused care across multiple OH clinic sites with periodic travel to Erie, PA.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited vascular ultrasound program and RVT/RVS/RPhS eligibility within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential or eligible to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies focused on the lower extremities.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently conduct and document ultrasound exams.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR to document studies and manage images.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

Location: This position floats between our Canton, Canfield, Fairlawn, and Middleburg, OH clinics (Tuesday-Friday).

On Mondays only, you will work in Erie, PA (you will receive mileage when traveling to Erie).

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Compensation: $42-$49/hr based on experience and qualifications + Mileage when driving to Erie.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.
