Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Vascular Sonographer in Cary, NC to perform focused vascular ultrasound examinations of the lower extremities and ensure an outstanding patient experience. You will work in a fast-growing outpatient vein center, handling venous mapping, reflux studies, and duplex imaging.

The role requires diagnostic sonography training, current RVT/RVS/RPhS credentials or eligibility within 90 days, and strong teamwork in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program.
• Current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days.
• Experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies preferred.
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.
• Conduct additional vascular imaging studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing when applicable.
• Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Support patient care within a vein clinic or vascular imaging environment.
• Utilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support workflow.
• Apply broad sonography knowledge, including OB/GYN and abdominal modalities when appropriate.

Position Summary:

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details:

• Location: Suite 300 Cary, NC 27518
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Thursday, must be available between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Compensation: $40-$50hr based on experience and qualifications
• RVT, RVS or RpH Required
• Must be available for out-of-state full-time training, company covers flight, hotel, car rental, and reimbursed meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations
• Perform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required
• Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required
• Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred
• Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.
