Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a Vascular Sonographer Float to provide non-invasive vascular ultrasound across 11 clinic locations in Middle Tennessee. You will rotate between sites, maintain high diagnostic quality, and support accurate billing and documentation.

The role requires formal vascular technology training and BLS, with registry eligibility within 12 months. Travel to various clinics is expected to meet staffing needs and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• BLS required.
• Successful completion of a formal 2–4 year vascular technology program.
• Registry-eligible within 12 months; credentialing required within six months if not current.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound exams (arterial, venous, carotid, abdominal).
• Review images for diagnostic quality and communicate significant findings to physicians.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and keep work areas clean.
• Enter exam data with CPT/ICD-10 codes for billing.
• Support IAC vascular lab accreditation with QA and logs.
