Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a vascular technologist to perform basic and intermediate vascular lab studies at Greenville Memorial Hospital. You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure image quality, and assist with patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include participation in after-hours schedules, adherence to protocols, and data documentation. ARDMS RVT or CCI(RVS) certification is required, with 1 year of vascular experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Sonography program.
• One year vascular sonography experience.
• Clinical rotations may be considered.
• ARDMS RVT or CCI(RVS) certification required.
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intermediate vascular lab studies with independent judgement.
• Operates ultrasound and related vascular lab equipment; reviews images for quality.
• Assists with scheduling and workflow; participates in on-call and after hours.
• Maintains logs, prepares studies for physician review, and ensures patient safety.
• Attends meetings and stays updated on vascular lab protocols.
