Job summary

USA Clinics Group in the Kansas City area seeks a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound examinations focused on the lower extremities. You will generate detailed reports for physicians and help shape safe, effective treatment plans, while ensuring a superior patient experience.

You will work with physicians to explain results to patients, prepare exam rooms, and maintain equipment. Paid training is provided; compensation is $40–$55/hr with a Thursday–Saturday schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Vascular registry (RVT, RVS, RPhS) certification or ability to book exam before offer extended.
• 1+ years of recent vascular experience including DVT rule outs and insufficiency studies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations to create detailed reports for physicians to help formulate safe and effective treatment plans.
• Explain examination results and proposed treatment options to patients in collaboration with physicians.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment before and after each patient.
• Maintain timelines for ultrasound exams to support efficient patient flow.
• Monitor and assist with maintenance of ultrasound equipment and inventory.

Position Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.

Position Details

• Location: Kansas City & Overland Park clinics
• Schedule: Thursday-Saturday (3 weeks per month; 1 week off)
• Compensation: $40-55/hr based on experience and qualifications
• Paid training

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations to create detailed reports for physicians to help formulate safe and effective treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with physicians to explain the examination results and proposed treatment options to patients
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including the setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies before and after each patient
• Ensure adherence to timelines for ultrasound exams to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
• Participate in maintaining ultrasound equipment and monitoring inventory for supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or clinic management

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program

• 1+ years of recent experience conducting vascular studies such as DVT rule outs and insufficiency studies
