Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiology equipment (C-arm) for vascular procedures and perform diagnostic imaging. The role includes assisting with Fluoroscopy, maintaining supplies, and ensuring compliant PHI handling.

Qualified candidates will have AMA-approved radiologic tech training, BLS, and familiarity with RIS/PACS; ARRT certification is preferred. UVVC values patient care and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Completion of radiologic technology training from an AMA approved school.
• Current ARRT Radiology certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Peripheral Vascular Lab preferred.
• Understand HIPAA, State and ACR Accreditation guidelines.
• RIS and PACS familiarity for patient flow from registration to Radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic patient imaging using radiology equipment.
• Assist and perform special procedures utilizing Fluoroscopy units.
• Assist Physician during Fluoroscopy procedures using sterile technique.
• Address patient needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain supplies for the department.
• Participate in continuing education and in-service programs.
• Ability to perform routine scheduling in the Vascular Lab Information System.
• Able to scrub in and assist the Physician.
• Practice Radiation Safety Standards.
• Uphold UVVC Core Values and conduct standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of PHI.
