Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with vascular experience to join our Gilbert, AZ clinic. The role emphasizes consultations, ongoing evaluations, follow-up care, and in-office procedures within the physician's supervision.

You will diagnose and manage venous insufficiency and peripheral arterial disease, develop patient-specific treatment plans, educate patients and families, and document care in the EMR while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in an inpatient, outpatient, or surgical setting.
• Vascular experience required; procedural experience is a plus.
• Degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Active NP or PA license in the applicable state.
• National certification (AANP, ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage vascular conditions such as venous insufficiency, pelvic congestion syndrome, and peripheral arterial disease.
• Perform minimally invasive in-office procedures (e.g., ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, micro-phlebectomy) with training provided.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on vascular conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Respond to patient inquiries, follow-ups, and emergencies.
• Document care in electronic medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
