Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers (UVVC) in Houston seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to diagnose, treat, and manage vascular disorders including venous insufficiency and PAD. This office-based role emphasizes consultations, ongoing evaluations, and follow-up care within the supervising physician's scope.

Qualifications

• NP/PA degree from accredited program.
• Active state license as NP/PA.
• National certification (AANP/ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• DEA license (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage vascular conditions including venous insufficiency and PAD.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on vascular conditions, options and care plans.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialists for comprehensive care.
• Respond to patient inquiries, follow-ups and emergencies.
• Document care in EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
