Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Danvers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. The role involves triaging patients, wound care, coordinating care, and education, under supervision of the Chief and Administrative Nurse Manager.

The APP will take histories, perform exams, arrange diagnostics, coordinate referrals, implement treatment plans, and communicate with referring physicians.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in nursing or physician assistant fields.
• Current MA state licensure as RN/APRN or PA is required.
• Experience as NP or PA is preferred (0-1 year).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up.
• Consistently provides high-quality and timely documentation (admission, progress notes, procedure notes, discharge summaries).
• Performs bedside procedures and writes prescriptions as per policies.
