Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, Ohio is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join the Neuroscience Institute on a 7-on/7-off block (23 weeks/year), balancing service coverage with continuity of care. There is opportunity for Stroke Directorship for qualified candidates.

This role involves collaboration with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care programs within a highly integrated care model, delivering comprehensive neurological care with Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology.
• Board certification and/or eligibility in Vascular Neurology.
• Current unrestricted license or ability to obtain license to practice in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient stroke neurology coverage with a 7-on/7-off block (23 weeks/year).
• Collaborate with Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular and Critical Care teams to ensure seamless care from emergency intervention through recovery.

Summa Health Medical Group is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join our nationally recognized Neuroscience Institute in Akron, Ohio. The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, which promotes both work-life balance and continuity of care. There is opportunity for Stroke Directorship for qualified candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team. The selected provider will work in close collaboration alongside Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma programs to ensure seamless, coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery.
