Job summary

The University of Virginia in Charlottesville is seeking candidates to join its Division of Cardiovascular Medicine as leaders in Vascular Medicine, with rank commensurate to qualifications. Directorship of the Vascular Medicine service could be available with prior experience.

Responsibilities include delivering inpatient and outpatient vascular medicine care, interpreting non-invasive vascular studies, and contributing to a dynamic teaching program with fellows and residents.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or equivalent required.
• Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Sub-specialty board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Medicine by start date.
• Experience with non-invasive vascular laboratory interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical vascular medicine services inpatient and outpatient.
• Interpret studies in the non-invasive vascular laboratory.
• Participate in teaching with fellows, residents and other staff.
• Support research activities commensurate with experience and interest.
