Zusammenfassung

Vascular Institute of the Rockies is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinics and procedure-based care in Denver and Wheat Ridge. You will room patients, take vital signs, obtain ECGs, document history, and assist with in-office procedures in a fast-paced vascular practice.

Ideal candidates have experience in surgical settings and comfort with sterile technique, wound care, and coordinating records. Training may be provided; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in surgery, orthopedics, vascular, general surgery, ambulatory surgery center, wound care, or other procedural setting preferred.
• Comfort with patient rooming, vital signs, ECGs, documentation, and clinical follow-through.
• Comfort with sterile technique and in-office procedure support; training may be offered.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced specialty practice as part of a team.
• Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks) required; Microsoft Office proficiency helpful.

Aufgaben

• Assist with check-in, scheduling, phone coverage, e-fax, and other patient support duties.
• Room patients promptly and prepare them for visits and procedures.
• Verify social history, medical history, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Obtain and document blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, heart rate, and ECGs.
• Document patient history and vitals in the EMR.
• Assist with in-office procedures, including sterile scrub and circulate support; training may be provided.
• Support wound care, dressing changes, and pre/post-procedure care.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies.
• Place orders and request outside imaging, labs, and other records.
• Coordinate medical records, imaging, labs, referrals, and authorizations.
• Arrange hospital admissions and pre-admission testing as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with safety and privacy regulations.
