The role performs non-invasive vascular testing and writes preliminary interpretations, assisting physicians in selecting appropriate tests based on clinical assessment.

Candidates must be RVT or RVS certified with at least 12 months of vascular testing experience and at least 600 exams performed under supervision.

Overview:

Sentara is hiring Full-Time Vascular Sonographer at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital- in Norfolk VA Shift: Days New Grads Welcome!

In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for:

• Perform non-invasive vascular testing procedures and writes preliminary interpretations.
• Assist physician in determination of appropriate testing based on clinical assessment and symptoms.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification required
• A minimum of 12 months of vascular testing experience with the performance of a least 600 noninvasive vascular examinations under the supervision of medical or technical staff.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $42.29 - $62.83 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
