Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist with expertise in vascular interventional radiology for a Johnstown, PA assignment. The role runs a 13-week contract with a schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, focusing on safe patient care and precise imaging during procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, monitoring pre- and post-procedure patients, and maintaining high safety standards in the vascular suite.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vascular operating room procedures and equipment.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role preferred.
• BLS and ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular interventional radiology procedures.
• Maintain a safe patient environment following safety protocols.
• Assist physicians during procedures ensuring smooth operation and communication.
• Monitor patients pre, during, and post-procedure, providing necessary care.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality and safety.
