Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Vascular and Interventional Procedures Unit (PVI Endovascular Lab). The position is full-time, day shift, with weekend and on-call requirements; a 30-minute call response is expected.

The unit features a 25-bed prep & recovery area and 8 procedure rooms; nurses work across interventional radiology, neuro, ultrasound, and vascular services to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in Critical Care, Emergency room, or PACU preferred.
• Ability to monitor hemodynamics and administer moderate sedation.
• Strong patient- and family-centered care.
• Cross-training across interventional radiology, neuro, ultrasound, and vascular procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assess/admit patients and perform rounding checks.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring and assist during procedures.
• Communicate with families and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
