Job summary

adelphi medical staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for ongoing locum-tenens coverage in Lansing, MI. The role involves performing IR procedures, daily hospital-based IR services, and on-call night/weekend coverage.

Ideal candidates hold Michigan license (IMLC not accepted) with BLS/ACLS and a clean malpractice record. Expected collaboration with two APPs in a Level I trauma setting, with UFE, angioplasty, embolization and biopsy experience.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology is required.
• Active Michigan medical license (IMLC not accepted).
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Clean malpractice and license history; NPDB self-query preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform IR procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis and UFE.
• Provide hospital-based IR services during day shifts (Mon–Fri, 7a–5p).
• Participate in Q3 call coverage (nights and weekends).
• Collaborate with 2 APPs and other IR physicians.
• Manage adult and geriatric patient populations.
