Job summary

Locums seeks a Board-certified physician in Vascular & Interventional Radiology for a locum tenens assignment in Bismarck, ND. The role includes diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, lines and port placements, and stroke thrombectomy in an inpatient setting.

Coverage is ASAP – ongoing with shifts 8am-4pm, in-house call 4pm-8am and 24-hour weekend call. Credentialing generally 60–90 days; Epic EMR in use; hospital privileges required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular interventions including angiography, stenting, and thrombolytic therapy.
• Perform therapeutic vascular interventions such as angioplasty, embolization, and IVC filter placement.
• Perform interventional body procedures including central lines, port-a-cath insertions, biopsies, and drainages.
• Conduct neuro interventional procedures including stroke thrombectomy.
• Provide evening and weekend call coverage for interventional radiology emergencies.
