Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lees Summit, MO, is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Vascular Clinic. The role blends direct patient care, care coordination, and administrative tasks in a collaborative specialty clinic.

You will assist with patient education, follow-up coordination, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR; prior authorization and scheduling tasks are also part of the position.

Formación

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• CMA credential or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-visit planning and prepare patients for appointments.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs, histories, and clinical information.
• Review medications and allergies for accuracy; document health information.
• Administer injections and coordinate vaccines; perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Assist providers with procedures and follow-up care coordination.
• Utilize the EMR to document care and coordinate referrals.
