Job summary

The Vascular Care Group is an outpatient vascular practice seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in our Lowell office. You will collaborate with clinical leadership to deliver quality care to vascular patients and support daily clinic operations.

You will assist with patient care, prepare exam rooms, document vital signs, and help maintain patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and a smooth patient flow throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant Program and certification as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks.
• 1+ year experience in a medical setting, ideally surgical.
• Willing to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.
• Basic understanding of clinical tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care, including setting up rooms and assisting during visits.
• Maintain sterile environment and document vital signs and provider notes.
• Maintain and organize patient records and medical information.
• Schedule patient appointments and communicate future appointments.
• Answer calls and provide 24-hour callbacks; manage office communications.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and dispose of medical waste as required.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians and clinical staff as needed.
